When Pawnee Bill Beef Jerky is manufactured the sticks vary in length. They are cut to size to be sold in jars at your local convenience store. The ends and pieces are bagged and sold in these 16 ounce bags. The sticks in the jar at your local convenience store are 1/2 an ounce. At $1.25 a stick you are paying $40.00 a pound at the convenience store ($1.25 X 32).
There are many different brands of beef jerky, but very few are as good as Pawnee Bill Beef Jerky. Pawnee Bill Beef Jerky is made with choice cuts of meat. Other meat snacks use scraps like lips, hearts, tongue etc. Pawnee Bill Beef Jerky is made out of steak. You'll notice the difference when you taste it.
